As a UI designer at Noise, I played a pivotal role in crafting responsive product pages for various new launches, overseeing the entire design process from inception to completion. Throughout my tenure, I had the opportunity to design 11 distinct product themes, several of which garnered immense popularity among consumers and led to rapid sell-outs. Sharing some of the product themes here which not only reflected Noise's brand's identity but also catered to diverse consumer preferences, ultimately driving engagement and sales. Crafting unique product stories helps Noise differentiate itself, forge emotional connections, and engage consumers authentically in a crowded marketplace.

My design process 

Project 01

1. Noise buds X ( designed using mid journey)

Storyline:

With advanced audio technology and high-quality drivers, Noise Buds X deliver immersive sound quality with clear highs, rich mids, and deep bass. The key differentiator of Noise Buds X lies in their unique and high-quality sound level. To emphasize this feature, the product theme was designed to evoke the imagery of outer space, suggesting that the sound quality is so exceptional that it can be heard even in the vastness of space.

By associating the earbuds with the grandeur of outer space, the design aims to convey a sense of awe and magnitude, reinforcing the idea that the sound produced by Noise Buds X is truly extraordinary. Users are encouraged to envision themselves immersed in a sonic experience that transcends earthly boundaries, elevating their perception of the product's audio capabilities and igniting their curiosity and desire to experience it firsthand.

Market response and learnings :

Noise Buds ANC were able to sell out the first 2000 units within the first two days of release and receive exceptional reception from the public.

The success of Noise Buds ANC underscores key learnings for designers: Fresh, innovative design distinguishes products from competitors; a premium feel reinforces brand connection with users; cross-functional collaboration is essential for translating design concepts into successful products; understanding user needs drives meaningful design; and innovation serves as a potent differentiator in competitive markets.

Project 02

2. Noise colorfit Pro 4 

Storyline:

This story revolves around the journey of a protagonist who discovers the transformative power of fitness and wellness through the advanced features of the smartwatch. The target audience for this watch are busy professionals or a fitness enthusiasts, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of daily life and struggling to prioritize health and well-being.

The product offers various functionalities, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, workout modes, and guided breathing exercises that attracts its user. The product aims to be a personal companion of the user helping them in journey of self-discovery and growth with Noise ColorFit Pro 4 by their side. It wants the user to realize that true wellness is not just about physical fitness but also about nurturing the mind, body, and soul.

Learnings :

  • Increased Appeal:  The simple yet elegant aesthetics of ColorFit Pro 4 enhance its visual appeal, attracting a broader audience including fashion-conscious users. 

  • Enhanced User Experience: The minimalist design reduces clutter and distractions, contributing to a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.

  • Less is More: The success of ColorFit Pro 4 reaffirms the principle that minimalist design can have a significant impact on user experience and market acceptance even in India which gave a lot of insights about our consumers.

Project 03

3. Valentine's Day Campaign

Project: Recently, this year, our team started work on a project to design a new theme for valentine’s day campaign by noise.

 

Goal: During our initial design phase, our objective was to create an exclusive theme tailored specifically for Valentine's week. This focus aimed to elevate product visibility and integrate celebrity endorsements, distinguishing our campaign from previous ones while enhancing audience engagement and brand recognition.

 

How I Tackled It: Despite feeling overwhelmed at the outset, especially considering I had never undertaken the task of creating an entire theme for such a significant sale independently, I persevered through challenges. By managing my time effectively and maintaining a relentless work ethic, I successfully presented the entire theme within a tight timeframe. Concurrently, I juggled other sales creatives, dedicating extra hours after work to ensure the sale's quality met optimum standards.

Results: 

 

95,000 units sold         ↑2.5% CTR

The launch proved immensely successful, resonating directly with consumers and resulting in the sale of approximately 95,000 units of product during the event alone. Impressively, the click-through rates (CTRs) for the sale exceeded benchmarks by 2.5%. Moreover, the sale significantly boosted the overall CTR for February, reaching 2.10%, marking the highest CTR month of the year thus far. Overall, the event emerged as a resounding success, affirming itssignificance in our marketing endeavors.

Project 04

4. Sale creatives

Here are some of the artworks I created for the Google , Facebook , Amazon and  Flipkart advertisment for noise.

 

Main things kept in mind while creating them:

  1. Clear Messaging: Communicate the key message or value proposition clearly and concisely. Use compelling headlines, taglines, and copywriting to capture attention and convey the benefits of Noise products or services effectively. Make sure accessibility and legibility's always kept in mind , and noise logo is always visible.

  2. Visual Appeal: Create visually appealing designs that captivate the audience and stand out from the clutter. Use high-quality images, graphics, and illustrations that align with the brand's image and evoke the desired emotional response from viewers.

  3. Iterative Design Based on User Feedback: Testing designs with users is crucial to ensure that they resonate effectively and achieve the desired impact as sometimes I created aesthetically pleasing, meaningful, impactful designs but they were not resonant with users, hence we had to iterate designs in 1 days time continuously based on feedback.
