Five years ago I realized the most interesting design problems aren't about interfaces - they're about the moment right before someone makes a decision, and everything that makes them hesitate.
That's what I design for. I'm Muskaan Mahendru, a Senior Product Designer (HFI-CUA Certified) with 5+ years across B2B platforms and consumer products. At Appinventiv, I've taken products from concept to scale - reducing scheduling errors in workforce tools, improving checkout conversion on e-commerce platforms, and designing discovery experiences that actually convert.
My process is research-first. I use user interviews, funnel data, heuristic evaluation, and jobs-to-be-done to understand not just what users do, but why they do it. I work closely with PMs and engineers from day one - not to align on outputs, but to align on the right problem.
I believe the best design decisions are the ones that feel obvious in hindsight. Getting there requires asking harder questions earlier.
